He died for me, I’ll live for him.  Those words sum up my goal for Christ.  He shed His blood and His life for me on Calvary so I can spend eternity with Him in paradise.  My calling is to use the voice He blessed me with to sing for Him, all the while uplifting and encouraging the saved, and bringing the lost to Him.

       Situations that happen in our society leave both Christians and Non Christians alike feeling scared, confused, and searching for answers.  My desire is for my music and ministry to give hope to the Christian – reminding them of God’s love, grace, peace, and that He is in control of all situations.  My strong desire is to show the lost that God has the answers that they are looking for and need.  I desire to be like various people portrayed in the Bible.  If the Bible was still being written today, I want to be a man that God would find worthy to put in His Holy Book.  Of course, like everyone else, I fail Him so often.   But I am so thankful that He is a forgiving God, thankful that He loves me so much.

      I look at where I am now and where He has brought me from.  I can remember a time 5 years ago when the number of doctors I had visited was too numerous to count.  But through the prayers of many Christian friends, I know without a doubt that the Lord healed me.  He gave the right doctors the right guidance for my life.   He has put a new song in my heart and gave me a wonderful testimony for Him.  He was there to carry me through the fire, there to hold me up.  Sometimes you have to walk through the valley to really appreciate being up on the mountaintop.  God used my valley time to straighten me out and put me on the path that He needed me to be on.  This is the path that I had to take for His will in my life to be accomplished.  God is never wrong and His ways always lead us in the right direction.

      The Lord has given me the talent of singing.  Singing for Him, and my testimony of how He has worked in my life, is how I minister for Christ.   Just as He would preach to one or five thousand, so is my desire to minister for Him.  Whether it be a Bible Study for ten people, breakfast for a group of men, or a church revival service, my call is to simply bring the word of the Lord through singing and testimony.   Wherever He leads I will go.  Whatever door He opens for me to minister, I will step through it.   Because in the end, serving Him and bringing others to Christ in and through His name is what we have all been called to do.
